Overview
The Goniopora Ultra Yellow Mini Colony is a stunning and vibrant specimen, prized for its ultra-bright yellow polyps that stand out beautifully under reef lighting. Native to Indonesia, this small but striking colony is perfect for aquarists seeking a compact yet eye-catching piece that doesn’t overwhelm the tank but still demands attention. The yellow polyps are complemented by subtle green undertones, creating a soft but luminous glow, especially in tanks with good lighting.

While Goniopora can be a bit more demanding than other LPS, with proper care, they reward reef keepers with impressive growth and stunning polyp extension. This mini colony is ideal for those looking to add a burst of colour and movement to their aquascape without taking up too much space.

Care & Feeding
Goniopora are photosynthetic but will benefit from supplemental feeding. Offering small planktonic foods, such as phytoplankton or coral-specific blends, will help enhance the health, colour, and extension of the polyps. Feed 1–2 times a week, particularly if the coral is in a tank with lower nutrient availability.

Optimal Parameters
Alkalinity (dKH): 8–11
Calcium (Ca): 420–460 ppm
Magnesium (Mg): 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO3): 2–10 ppm
Phosphate (PO4): 0.01–0.05 ppm

Placement
Place the Ultra Yellow Goniopora Mini Colony in a mid to bottom level position in your tank with moderate to chaotic flow. The flow should encourage polyp extension but not be too strong, as Goniopora prefer a steady but not overwhelming current. It also appreciates moderate to high lighting to bring out its true colours.

🌞🌟 Radiant and Lively – The Ultra Yellow Goniopora Mini Colony adds a dazzling splash of yellow to your reef tank. With its vibrant colour and movement, it’s perfect for reefers looking to make a statement.
