Premium Gold & Orange Torch with Neon Green Tips

🔹 Quick Stats
Care Level: Moderate
Temperament: Aggressive (long sweeper tentacles)
Colour Form: Premium Grade A Dragon Soul coloration, displaying intensely saturated golden-yellow tentacles with rich orange/amber undertones and contrasting fluorescent green tips. Under actinic lighting, the gold and orange pigments develop a molten appearance while the green tips glow intensely. This stronger gold/orange saturation is also how we currently distinguish our Grade A Dragon Soul selection.
Water Conditions: 24–26 °C, dKH 7.5–8.5, pH 8.0–8.4, sg 1.024–1.026
Family: Euphylliidae
Lighting: Moderate (PAR 80–150)
Water Flow: Low to Moderate, indirect
Placement: Low to Mid reef
Type: Cut to Order – Grade A

🧬 Overview
The Euphyllia glabrescens “Dragon Soul” Grade A represents our premium selection of this iconic Torch morph, chosen for stronger gold coloration, warmer orange tones and intense fluorescent green tips.

Under blue spectrum lighting, the tentacles develop an incredible molten gold/orange appearance, while the contrasting green tips provide the characteristic Dragon Soul fluorescence. The long tentacles and natural flowing movement make this one of the most visually impressive Euphyllia morphs for an LPS display.

Compared with our Grade B Dragon Soul, the Grade A selection is specifically chosen for greater colour intensity, richer gold/orange pigmentation and stronger overall fluorescence.

✂️ Cut to Order – Grade A
This listing is not WYSIWYG. Frags are freshly cut to order from our established Grade A Dragon Soul mother colony.

Each frag is individually selected from the mother colony, so exact head size, tentacle structure and colour distribution can naturally vary. Freshly cut specimens may also require some time to recover their full polyp extension before shipping.

Selected for:
Premium Grade A Dragon Soul coloration
• Intense golden-yellow tentacles
• Rich orange / amber undertones
• Bright fluorescent green tips
• Strong fluorescence under actinic lighting
• Long, flowing Torch tentacles
• Propagated from established mother stock
• FreakinCorals Cut-to-Order specimen

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Dragon Soul Torches obtain most of their energy through photosynthesis but benefit from occasional supplemental feeding.

Recommended occasionally:
• Mysis shrimp or finely chopped marine foods
• Quality LPS pellets
• Small particulate coral foods

Stable water chemistry is particularly important for Euphyllia glabrescens. Moderate lighting around 80–150 PAR and gentle to moderate indirect flow are appropriate starting conditions.

📈 Optimal Parameters

Parameter Ideal Range
Alkalinity (dKH) 7.5–8.5
Calcium (Ca) 420–450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg) 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO₃) 5–15 ppm
Phosphate (PO₄) 0.03–0.10 ppm

📍 Placement
Place in the lower to middle areas of the reef with low to moderate, indirect and variable water movement. The long tentacles should sway naturally without being continuously blasted in one direction.

Allow generous clearance from neighbouring corals. Torch corals can extend long sweeper tentacles and sting nearby specimens.
