🧬 Overview
The Grafted Fusion Acropora is a particularly interesting collector SPS combining two contrasting colour expressions within the same coral. Grafted Acropora can display distinct colour zones sharing the same skeleton, with the boundaries and relative dominance of those colours changing as new growth develops.
In this selection, the main attraction is the contrast between bright yellow coloration and deeper orange-brown / bronze tones. Under blue-spectrum lighting, the yellow areas become considerably brighter, while the warmer sections provide a darker backdrop that makes the grafted pattern stand out.
Because grafted colour distribution is naturally variable, every frag can develop its own pattern as it grows. This makes it an especially interesting Acropora for collectors who enjoy watching a coral evolve rather than simply maintaining a fixed colour pattern.

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Grafted Acropora should be treated as an advanced SPS, requiring stable water chemistry, strong lighting and turbulent multidirectional flow. Around 250–400 PAR is a practical range for many grafted Acropora once properly acclimated.
It is primarily photosynthetic, although fine SPS foods and amino acids can be offered as supplemental nutrition. Maintaining stable alkalinity and measurable nitrate and phosphate is more important than aggressively reducing nutrients.

📍 Placement
Place in the middle to upper areas of a mature reef, providing strong, changing water movement around the entire frag. Gradually acclimate it to higher light rather than immediately exposing a newly introduced frag to maximum PAR.
