This Australian Pink Acropora is a beautiful SPS selected for its predominantly pink coloration and elegant branching structure.
The coral develops a range of pink tones, from softer pastel and dusty pink through to more saturated coloration depending on lighting and growing conditions. Under blue-heavy reef lighting, fluorescent highlights become more pronounced, while a balanced spectrum reveals more of the coral’s natural pink pigmentation.
Rather than assigning an uncertain collector name or species, we offer this coral simply as an Australian pink-toned Acropora sp., allowing the colour and growth form of the coral to speak for themselves.
Acropora coloration is highly influenced by environmental conditions, meaning individual frags can develop slightly different tones as they mature in each reef system.

🍽️ Care & Feeding
This Acropora is primarily photosynthetic and should be maintained in a mature SPS system with strong lighting, powerful multidirectional flow and very stable water chemistry. Australian Acropora care recommendations commonly place these corals around 200–400 PAR, with strong turbulent flow and gradual light acclimation.
Fine particulate SPS foods and amino acids can be offered as supplemental nutrition, but maintaining stable alkalinity and measurable nutrients is more important than heavy direct feeding.

📍 Placement
Place in the middle to upper areas of the reef with strong, random and multidirectional flow. Avoid a constant direct jet against the coral and gradually acclimate new frags to higher PAR.
Lighting can significantly alter the apparent shade of pink, so some colour variation after introduction to a new aquarium is completely normal.
