The Acropora humilis “Emerald Hammer” is a bold SPS coral known for its thick branches, pronounced axial tips and vibrant green pigmentation. Acropora humilis is easily recognizable by its compact, robust branching structure and prominent coralites, giving the coral a rugged and powerful appearance compared to smoother SPS species.
Its intense emerald coloration creates a bright natural highlight in reef aquascapes, particularly when placed among red, pink or blue Acropora varieties. Under strong reef lighting the coral develops a vivid fluorescent glow while maintaining its deep green base tones.
As the colony matures, the thick branches form dense clusters that give the coral a strong architectural presence within SPS-dominated reef systems.
