Overview
Codium taylorii live macroalgae is a compact, deep green macroalgae prized for its shrub-like branching and spongy texture, making it a visually appealing and functional addition to reef aquariums. Able to thrive under moderate to good lighting and typical reef water parameters, it absorbs excess nutrients from the water column and provides microhabitat for copepods and other small critters, enhancing ecosystem balance. Its slow-to-moderate growth rate makes it easy to manage, and its peaceful nature means it won’t overtake rockwork or harm corals.
