🧬 Overview
The Warpaint Trinity Trachyphyllia is a collector-grade open brain coral prized for its extreme colour layering and high-contrast striping. This is not a soft pastel piece — it is a statement coral, designed to dominate the sandbed and draw immediate attention.

Its thick, inflated tissue, wide oral disc and aggressive colour patterning make it ideal for high-impact reef layouts and premium LPS collections.

Each specimen is selected for:

  • Strong red, blue and purple colour separation

  • High saturation and clean striping pattern

  • Thick, fleshy tissue and full inflation

  • Proven stability and acclimation in reef conditions

A premium option for reefers who want maximum visual impact and rare colour combinations.

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Trachyphyllia respond extremely well to direct feeding and will show improved size, colour depth and tissue thickness.

Feed 1–2× weekly with:

  • Mysis, chopped shrimp, krill

  • LPS pellets

  • Meaty frozen blends

Best fed after lights out for strongest feeding response.

📈 Optimal Parameters

Parameter Ideal Range
Alkalinity (dKH) 7.5–9
Calcium (Ca) 420–450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg) 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO₃) 5–15 ppm
Phosphate (PO₄) 0.05–0.15 ppm

📍 Placement
Place directly on the sandbed, away from rockwork to prevent tissue damage.
Ensure gentle, indirect flow so the tissue can inflate fully without stress.

Pairs exceptionally well with:

  • Ultra Orange, Gold & Grey, Orange & Blue Yumas

  • Acanthastrea and Micromussa

  • Chalices with dark bases

  • Euphyllia gardens for colour balance
