🧬 Overview
The Catalaphyllia jardinei “Rasta Phantom” is an extraordinary Elegance coral featuring a rare dark base coloration combined with vibrant rasta-style green and pink tips. This high-contrast colour pattern creates a striking visual effect that makes the coral stand out dramatically in reef aquariums.
Elegance corals are known for their large fleshy polyp and flowing tentacles, which move gracefully in the current and create a natural underwater motion within the reef display.
Under reef LED lighting the fluorescent pigments become extremely vivid, with the green tips glowing brightly while the pink accents add intense colour contrast against the darker base.
When fully expanded, the coral forms a wide fleshy crown of tentacles that creates an impressive centerpiece in LPS or mixed reef aquariums.
