🧬 Overview
The Pink Zipper Zoanthus is an unmistakable collector morph known for its spectacular pink-speckled pattern over a contrasting purple-blue background.
At the centre of each polyp sits a small bright green mouth, surrounded by a darker purple to steel-blue oral disc. Across this dark background, numerous fluorescent pink speckles and irregular splashes radiate outward, becoming increasingly concentrated towards the edge of the polyp. This characteristic radial pattern gives the morph its distinctive “Pink Zipper” appearance.
The skirt adds even more contrast, combining pink and green pigmentation with teal, blue and darker accents. Under blue-heavy reef lighting, the true pink pigmentation becomes especially vivid and creates exceptional contrast against the darker oral disc.

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Pink Zipper Zoanthus is primarily photosynthetic and performs well in established reef aquariums. Moderate indirect flow helps prevent detritus accumulation, while occasional fine particulate coral foods may support growth and colony development.
Stable measurable nutrients can help maintain strong coloration, particularly the characteristic pink pigmentation.
📍 Placement
Place in the lower to middle areas of the reef under low to moderate lighting. Gradual acclimation is recommended when introducing the frag to stronger illumination.

Zoanthids may contain palytoxin or related compounds. Wear gloves and eye protection when handling or fragging, avoid contact with the eyes and mouth, and never boil, steam or expose the colony to very hot water.
