Family: Poritidae
Lighting: Low to Moderate (PAR 80–150)
Water Flow: Low to Moderate, indirect and variable
Placement: Low to Mid Reef
Type: WYSIWYG – Exact Colony Shown

🧬 Overview
This Yellow & Pink Goniopora is a striking established colony selected for its beautiful combination of bright yellow and contrasting pink tones.

Once fully extended, its numerous flower-like polyps create constant movement in the aquarium, producing an almost waving field of yellow and pink. Similar multicolour Goniopora can show yellow, gold and pink pigmentation across individual polyps, making these combinations particularly attractive under blue-spectrum reef lighting.

Unlike a small starter frag, this is an established colony, providing immediate size, movement and colour in the aquarium.

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Goniopora are photosynthetic but benefit considerably from regular supplemental feeding with fine particulate and planktonic foods. Rotifers, copepod-sized foods and fine coral powders can all be offered when the polyps are fully extended.

Provide gentle, variable water movement that allows the polyps to sway naturally rather than being blasted in one direction. Stable nutrients and water chemistry are particularly important for maintaining long-term polyp extension and coloration.

📈 Optimal Parameters

Parameter Ideal Range
Alkalinity (dKH) 7.5–8.5
Calcium (Ca) 420–450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg) 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO₃) 5–15 ppm
Phosphate (PO₄) 0.03–0.10 ppm

📍 Placement
Place in the lower to middle areas of the reef, ideally where the colony receives moderate lighting and soft, multidirectional flow. Allow generous space around it so the long polyps can fully extend without touching neighbouring corals.
