Overview

Introducing the Austrolomussa Green Graft, a stunning and unique coral that showcases a beautiful green base with intricate grafts of white and grey. The grafted colors create a striking contrast that gives this coral an eye-catching, multicolored appearance, making it a remarkable addition to any reef tank. Its vivid green and neutral grey tones blend seamlessly, adding sophistication and dynamic color variation to your aquascape.

Native to the Indo-Pacific, the Austrolomussa Green Graft thrives in low-light environments with moderate to gentle water flow. It naturally grows in encrusting or mound-like shapes, and its peaceful temperament allows it to coexist with other non-aggressive species. However, it requires enough space to allow for proper expansion and growth.

While primarily relying on photosynthesis through its symbiotic zooxanthellae, the Austrolomussa Green Graft will also benefit from occasional target feedings of meaty foods such as enriched brine shrimp, micro-plankton, or other coral-specific feed. These additional feedings help to support its healthy growth and vibrant coloration.

To maintain optimal health and color, it’s essential to maintain stable water parameters with appropriate levels of calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity. Low nitrate and phosphate levels are also important to minimize algae growth and to preserve the coral’s striking grafted colors.

Aquacultured and mounted on a ceramic plug, the Austrolomussa Green Graft is easy to place and care for, making it suitable for both beginner and experienced aquarists. Approximate purchase size: 2 to 5 mouths.
