🧬 Overview
The “Light Green Blue Tip Torch” is a beautifully balanced Euphyllia glabrescens combining soft fluorescent green tentacles with contrasting blue tips.

Unlike the much more saturated Toxic Green selections, this morph displays a lighter and cleaner green coloration, giving the coral a brighter and more delicate appearance while still maintaining excellent fluorescence under blue lighting.

The blue terminal tips provide a strong contrast against the light-green tentacles, becoming particularly noticeable as the coral fully expands and moves naturally with the current.

Its combination of light green, blue and flowing movement makes this a very versatile Torch that stands out without relying on the extremely saturated coloration of Holy Grail-type specimens.

🧾 WYSIWYG
You will receive the exact specimen shown, individually selected for its colour combination, fluorescence and overall appearance.

Selected for:
• Light fluorescent green tentacles
• Contrasting blue / ice-blue tips
• Beautiful green-to-blue transition
• Strong fluorescence under actinic lighting
• Long, flowing tentacles
• Excellent polyp extension
• Clean and elegant two-tone coloration
• High visual impact in mixed LPS displays

🍽️ Care & Feeding
This Torch obtains most of its energy through photosynthesis but benefits from occasional supplemental feeding.

Recommended occasionally:
• Mysis shrimp or finely chopped meaty foods
• Quality LPS pellets
• Small particulate coral foods

Stable alkalinity, calcium, salinity and nutrient levels are important for maintaining healthy tissue, skeletal growth and coloration.

📈 Optimal Parameters

Parameter Ideal Range
Alkalinity (dKH) 7.5–8.5
Calcium (Ca) 420–450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg) 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO₃) 5–15 ppm
Phosphate (PO₄) 0.03–0.10 ppm

📍 Placement
Place in the lower to middle areas of the reef with moderate, indirect and variable water movement. Flow should gently move the long tentacles without continuously pushing them in one direction.

Allow generous clearance from neighbouring corals due to the long sweeper tentacles and aggressive nature of Euphyllia glabrescens.
