🧬 Overview
The Acanthastrea lordhowensis “Ocean Prism” is a striking Australian LPS coral prized for its cool-toned colour palette and thick fleshy polyps. Australian Acan Lords are especially valued for their intense coloration and well-defined polyp structure, often showing strong contrast between their centers and outer rings.
This specimen features glowing green centers framed by deep blue and turquoise rings, creating a vibrant and refreshing colour combination reminiscent of tropical reef waters.
Under modern reef LED lighting the fluorescent pigments become even more vivid, making the coral stand out beautifully in mixed reef or LPS-dominated aquascapes.
As the colony grows, new polyps develop around the base forming a dense and colourful cluster that adds texture and depth to the reef.

📍 Placement
