Water Flow: Low to Moderate, indirect (gentle sway)
Placement: Mid reef
Type: Cut-to-Order (CTO) Frag
🧬 Overview
The Euphyllia “Dragon Soul” is one of the most iconic and sought-after torch corals in the hobby, prized for its signature gold and neon green colour combination. Its long, flowing tentacles create a hypnotic movement in the aquarium, adding both elegance and energy to the reef.
Under blue spectrum lighting, the coral transforms into a glowing centrepiece, with the golden tentacles appearing almost liquid and the green tips pulsing with fluorescence. This high-end morph is a staple in collector systems and premium reef displays.
As it grows, the torch develops fuller heads and increased movement, enhancing its visual impact over time.
🧾 CTO (Cut-to-Order)
Frags are freshly cut from a healthy mother colony. You will receive a frag similar to the photos, selected for colour quality and polyp health.
Please note:
• Healing time may be required before shipping
• Head size and number may vary depending on cut
• Colour intensity may increase under optimal lighting
Selected for:
• Iconic gold tentacles with neon green tips
• Strong fluorescence under actinic lighting
• Long flowing tentacles with elegant movement
• High-end collector torch morph
• Healthy, aquaculture-sourced frag potential
🍽️ Care & Feeding
Torch corals benefit from both photosynthesis and occasional feeding.
Recommended feeding occasionally:
• Mysis shrimp or finely chopped marine foods
• LPS pellets
• Broadcast feeding in nutrient-stable systems
📈 Optimal Parameters
Parameter | Ideal Range
Alkalinity (dKH) | 7.5–8.5
Calcium (Ca) | 420–450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg) | 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO₃) | 5–15 ppm
Phosphate (PO₄) | 0.03–0.10 ppm
📍 Placement
Place in an area with gentle, indirect flow to allow the tentacles to sway naturally. Ensure adequate spacing from other corals due to long sweeper tentacles.
