🧬 Overview
The Blue & Green Stylophora is a highly attractive SPS coral renowned for its compact branching structure, excellent polyp extension, and vibrant two-tone colouration. Combining brilliant fluorescent green tissue with contrasting electric blue branch tips, it provides outstanding colour contrast in any reef aquarium.
Unlike many delicate SPS corals, Stylophora is relatively forgiving, making it an excellent introduction to small polyp stony corals while still being highly appreciated by experienced reef keepers. As the colony matures, it develops into a dense, bushy structure with hundreds of brightly coloured branch tips that create exceptional depth and texture.
Under blue-spectrum lighting, the fluorescent pigments become increasingly intense, making this coral a standout feature in mixed reefs and SPS-dominated systems alike.
