🧬 Overview
The Ultra Pink Alveopora Duet is a special WYSIWYG selection consisting of two individual Alveopora colonies, chosen to be kept together for their complementary pink coloration.
Both colonies display beautiful pink tones, but with their own subtle differences in intensity and pigmentation. Together, they create a much fuller display of pastel pink, rose and fluorescent highlights, especially once their long flower-like polyps are completely extended.
Alveopora are particularly attractive for the movement they bring to a reef. Their characteristic 12-tentacled polyps extend well beyond the skeleton and gently move with the current, creating a soft, flowing appearance.
Rather than selling these pieces separately, this listing offers the two colonies together as a premium matching duet, creating an instant Alveopora garden with significantly more presence and movement.

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Alveopora are photosynthetic but can benefit from supplemental feeding with fine particulate and planktonic foods. Small zooplankton, rotifers and finely suspended coral foods can be offered periodically.
Provide gentle, variable flow that allows the long polyps to move naturally without being continuously pushed to one side. Stable water chemistry and measurable nutrients are important for maintaining healthy extension, growth and coloration.
📈 Optimal Parameters
| Parameter | Ideal Range |
|---|---|
| Alkalinity (dKH) | 7.5–8.5 |
| Calcium (Ca) | 420–450 ppm |
| Magnesium (Mg) | 1300–1400 ppm |
| Nitrate (NO₃) | 5–15 ppm |
| Phosphate (PO₄) | 0.03–0.10 ppm |
📍 Placement
Position the colonies in the lower to middle areas of the reef, where they receive moderate lighting and gentle, multidirectional water movement. Leave enough room for both colonies to achieve full polyp extension without being irritated by neighbouring corals.
