🧬 Overview
The Trachyphyllia geoffroyi “Toxic Inferno” is a spectacular Indonesian LPS coral prized for its extreme fluorescent yellow pigmentation combined with intense red streaking. This dramatic colour combination creates a powerful visual effect that makes the coral stand out immediately in reef aquariums.

Under modern reef LED lighting the toxic yellow tissue becomes incredibly luminous, while the red patterns create a molten lava-like appearance across the coral’s large fleshy surface. The contrast between these colours produces one of the most visually striking Trachyphyllia morphs available.

When fully expanded, the coral forms a large fleshy disc with deep ridges and valleys that accentuate the dramatic colour transitions across the coral tissue.

WYSIWYG:
You will receive the exact coral shown in the photo. Each specimen is individually photographed and selected for colour intensity, pattern definition and coral health.

Selected for:
• Extreme toxic fluorescent yellow coloration
• Strong red and crimson patterning
• Ultra color Indonesian specimen
• Large fleshy LPS structure
• Exceptional fluorescence under reef LED lighting

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Trachyphyllia corals benefit from occasional direct feeding and nutrient-rich environments.

Recommended feeding 1–2× weekly:
• Mysis shrimp
• Finely chopped seafood
• LPS pellets or coral foods
• Target feeding during evening expansion

📈 Optimal Parameters

Parameter | Ideal Range
Alkalinity (dKH) | 7.5–8.5
Calcium (Ca) | 420–450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg) | 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO₃) | 5–15 ppm
Phosphate (PO₄) | 0.03–0.10 ppm

📍 Placement
Place on the sand bed or lower rockwork where the coral can fully expand without contact from neighbouring corals. Provide gentle, indirect flow to prevent tissue damage while allowing natural inflation.

Ensure the coral rests on soft substrate rather than sharp rock surfaces.
