🧬 Overview
The Acanthastrea bowerbanki “Lagoon Titan” is a striking LPS coral featuring a cool-toned blend of blue and green pigmentation. Bowerbanki corals are known for their massive fleshy polyps and thick tissue, giving them a powerful presence in reef aquariums.
This specimen displays a refreshing lagoon-like colour palette, with glowing green tones contrasting against deeper ocean-blue areas. Under reef LED lighting the fluorescent pigments become even more vivid, giving the coral a luminous underwater look.
When fully expanded, the coral develops large rounded fleshy polyps that show off the colour gradients beautifully across the coral surface.
As the colony grows, new polyps form around the base creating a larger and more impressive fleshy LPS cluster.
