Guaranteed effects when used in conjunction with Bactoreef®.
Third generation Microfauna Booster®: A live, biological product for your reef aquarium
Trailblazing daphbio was the first brand to offer phytoplankton to reef aquarium keepers. Microfauna Booster® reseeds microfauna and micro-organisms. In fact, its biological molecules rich in proteins, micro-algae and bacteria specific to reef aquariums, reactivate microfauna, micro-organisms, bacteria and bacterio-plankton. Microfauna Booster® nourishes all the occupants of your seawater aquarium: hard and soft corals, anemones, tridacna clams, fan worms, clams, live or dead rocks, sand, microfauna and bacteria. It is very much appreciated by demersal fish, filtering organisms and micro-crustaceans, and is perfectly adapted to symbiotic and non-symbiotic corals, and sponges.
This product is ideal for the start-up, reseeding, maintenance, reset or transfer of your reef and marine aquarium.
Our phytoplankton cultures for marine and reef aquariums are produced 100% organically. Huge quantities of the raw materials are available, and producing Microfauna Booster® requires no petrochemicals or fossil fuel, nor any manufacturing process. In addition, we use only pure spring water in our production processes. We have been producing phytoplankton, zooplankton and bacteria for more than 30 years, expertise which makes Microfauna Booster® a high-end product of incomparable quality.
A link in the reef aquarium food chain
Like Bactoreef® and Zoo Booster®, Microfauna Booster® forms an integral part of the food chain mirroring that found in the sea, with phytoplankton, zooplankton and bacteria. Microfauna Booster® also boosts and maintains microfauna and bacteria. It is ideal for enriching artemia, copepods, fry, live rocks and zooplankton. Microfauna Booster® is the best ally for your live microfauna and your aquarium’s habitat. Microfauna ensure that a reef aquarium stays healthy: an aquarium that is well stocked with microfauna is rarely affected by invasions of cyanobacteria.
Third generation Microfauna Booster®: Enriched composition
We have continuously sought to improve Microfauna Booster® in our private laboratory, to achieve a very high-quality product. Our experience in this area has shown that phytoplankton alone are not enough to obtain optimum results. Unlike manufactured products, Microfauna Booster® third generation contains a 100% biological mixture of phytoplankton, enzymes, bacterio-plankton and probiotic denitrifying bacteria specific to saltwater and reef aquariums giving a very rich and innovative product. Microfauna Booster® presents no toxicity risk to the aquarium’s occupants.
Microfauna Booster® instructions for use
Shake before use.
For nano-aquariums from 30 to 75 litres, pour 2.5 ml, 2 times a week.
For aquariums of 80 to 150 litres, pour 10 ml, 2 or 3 times a week.
For aquariums of 150 to 300 litres, pour 20 ml, 2 or 3 times a week.
For aquariums of 300 to 600 litres, pour 30 ml, 2 or 3 times a week.
We recommend turning the skimmer off for between an hour and all night when adding the product to your tank, preferably in the evening or early morning.
As regards the recommended dosage, each aquarium is different. Some aquariums, such as Jaubert and Berlinois aquariums, react very positively when very little product is added, while others need a more substantial dose.
Keep in the refrigerator. Once a bottle has been opened, it is preferable to use it up without interruption. As with all biological products, there may be an odour, but this does not affect the product’s effectiveness.
Usage recommendations: use Microfauna Booster® with Bactoreef® for guaranteed effects!
Combining Microfauna Booster® with Bactoreef® creates a synergy through which the microfauna and food chain in your aquarium are maintained. In addition, the aquarium water will be clearer. If your aquarium so allows and you have already done so, turn the skimmer off overnight, at least one or two nights per week, and add a few millilitres of Bactoreef.
