The Plerogyra sinuosa “Green Blotchy” is a striking collector Bubble Coral prized for its oversized fluorescent vesicles and distinctive mottled colouration. The combination of bright neon green bubbles and irregular darker green patterning creates a unique appearance rarely found in standard Bubble Corals.
Under blue-spectrum reef lighting, the colony glows with intense fluorescent green coloration, while the contrasting blotchy markings create exceptional depth and visual texture. Under balanced daylight, additional jade, emerald and metallic green hues become visible, further enhancing the coral's premium appearance.
As the colony expands during the photoperiod, it develops large inflated vesicles that create a dramatic three-dimensional display. Its unique shape and movement make it an excellent focal point for LPS-dominated aquariums and mixed reef systems alike.
