Colour Form: Intense fiery orange to copper-gold tentacles, contrasted by electric blue tips and a brilliant neon-green fluorescent core/mouth. Under actinic lighting, the green centre and blue tips glow strongly against the warmer orange body, creating the characteristic fiery Hellfire appearance. Hellfire is an established commercial E. glabrescens morph, although exact colour expression varies between lineages.
Water Conditions: 24–26 °C, dKH 7.5–8.5, pH 8.0–8.4, sg 1.024–1.026
Family: Euphylliidae
Lighting: Moderate (PAR 80–150)

Placement: Low to Mid reef
Type: Cut to Order – Shop Propagated

🧬 Overview
The Euphyllia glabrescens “Hellfire” is one of the most spectacular collector Torch morphs, combining warm, fiery pigmentation with intense contrasting fluorescence.

Its long tentacles display rich orange, amber and copper-gold tones, producing the characteristic flame-like appearance that gives this morph its name. The colour intensifies toward the contrasting electric-blue tips, while the centre develops a powerful neon-green fluorescence under blue-spectrum lighting.

Once fully expanded, the combination of orange, blue and fluorescent green creates exceptional movement and colour separation, making the Hellfire an outstanding centrepiece for a premium Euphyllia collection.

✂️ Cut to Order – Shop Propagated
This listing is not WYSIWYG. Each frag is freshly cut to order from our established Hellfire mother colony.

Exact head size, tentacle structure and colour distribution can naturally vary between individual cuts. Newly cut specimens may require some healing time before shipping and can initially display reduced polyp extension.

Selected for:
• Premium Hellfire coloration
• Fiery orange / copper-gold tentacles
• Electric blue tips
• Intense fluorescent green core
• Exceptional fluorescence under actinic lighting
• Strong three-colour contrast
• Long, flowing Torch tentacles
• Propagated from established mother stock
• FreakinCorals Cut-to-Order specimen

🍽️ Care & Feeding
Hellfire Torches obtain most of their energy through photosynthesis but benefit from occasional supplemental feeding.

Recommended occasionally:
• Mysis shrimp or finely chopped marine foods
• Quality LPS pellets
• Small particulate coral foods

Stable alkalinity, calcium, salinity and nutrient levels are particularly important for maintaining healthy tissue, skeletal growth and strong coloration.

📈 Optimal Parameters

Parameter Ideal Range
Alkalinity (dKH) 7.5–8.5
Calcium (Ca) 420–450 ppm
Magnesium (Mg) 1300–1400 ppm
Nitrate (NO₃) 5–15 ppm
Phosphate (PO₄) 0.03–0.10 ppm

📍 Placement
Place in the lower to middle areas of the reef with low to moderate, indirect and variable flow. The tentacles should extend freely and sway naturally without being blasted by a constant direct current.

Allow generous clearance from neighbouring corals due to the long sweeper tentacles and aggressive nature of Euphyllia glabrescens.
