🧬 Overview
The Acropora latistella “Solar Flare” is a striking Indonesian SPS coral valued for its warm orange coloration and bright contrasting growth tips. A. latistella typically develops elegant branching structures with smooth tissue coverage and excellent polyp extension in stable reef systems.
The intense orange base combined with glowing yellow tips gives this coral the appearance of a miniature solar flare within the reef aquascape. As the colony grows, the yellow tips highlight each new branch extension, creating a vivid contrast that becomes increasingly dramatic under strong reef lighting.
This coral adds rare warm-spectrum colour to SPS collections and pairs beautifully with blues, purples and greens commonly found in Acropora reefs.
