Overview

The Blue Tip Heliofungia is a visually captivating free-living large polyp stony (LPS) coral, prized for its long, fleshy tentacles that resemble anemones. Its distinctive blue-tipped tentacles gently sway in the current, creating dynamic motion and stunning contrast under reef lighting.

Often labeled in international markets as "Blue Tip Long Tentacle Plate Coral", this specimen adds elegance and motion to sandy foreground areas, especially in open aquascapes.

Care & Feeding

Heliofungia actiniformis requires very stable water parameters and benefits from target feeding with microplankton, reef roids, or enriched brine/mysis shrimp. It thrives in tanks with mature biological filtration and minimal detritus accumulation around its base.

Avoid placing near corals with long sweepers or aggressive behavior, and handle with extreme care due to its delicate soft tissue.
